Working Safely
Working safely trains workers to ensure that their individual and collective actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and that responsibilities are clearly understood.
Who should attend
Working safely is aimed at all people whose work exposes them to risk.
Aim
To make workers, at all levels, aware of their responsibility for safety towards themselves colleagues and others affected by work activities.
Course Structure
Working safely requires a full day to deliver and will comprise of tutor delivery, discussion groups, workshops and exercises and some use of self-teaching material. The course is assessed at the end of the programme.
The programme is in four modules two of which are general working safely and hazards, these are followed by specific session aimed at improving organisational safety performance and specific hazards within the organisation or industry sector. Top Lodge specialises in Sports and Recreation, Swimming pools and Leisure industries.
Certificates will be awarded only to those who successfully complete the Institutions approved assessment procedure.
